FURTHER INFORMATION

I use luxury lashes which are usually re-usable up to 20 times. If you would like me to use your own false lashes, all glue and mascara must be fully removed if they have been used.

All makeup services include skin preparation. Only Bridal makeup includes a lip touch-up with an applicator.

I do not set your outfit, jewellery or dupatta – this is usually done by the hair artist. I recommend you have a friend or family member ready to help you if your hair artist does not provide this service.

I charge £5 for every 5 minutes I am waiting if you are late for your booking by 10+ minutes. If you are coming to me, please do not arrive more than 5 minutes early for your booking, and please do not ring the doorbell before 9am (message me when outside).

Please note any deposit payments are entirely non-refundable & non-transferrable, no matter the circumstances.

TIME OF MAKEUP COMPLETION
This should not be the time you need to be ready to leave. I prefer doing makeup before your hair/hijab is done. Please ensure you avoid overlap with your hair/hijab artist where possible

You can send a rough address if you are not sure where you will be getting ready yet. I will try my best to accommodate address changes but I am not always able to do so as I plan other bookings around yours, so please let me know upon booking if there is a chance you might change the address and where this could change to

If you are staying in a hotel, please confirm the room number at least 15 minutes prior to the start time of your booking and collect me from reception at least 5 minutes prior to the start time of your booking

If you would like to have your makeup done at my home (Leicester, LE5), please state "your home" in this section of your enquiry rather than stating your address

PRIOR TO MY ARRIVAL

Please ensure you complete the following tasks prior to my arrival as it may cause delays to the agreed finishing time and other clients otherwise...

WEAR YOUR OUTFIT
Wear your outfit if it does not have a back zip or wide neck, with a robe, scarf or tissues covering the chest area. It wastes time if you are doing this once I arrive as I talk to you about your look while I am setting up, which only takes me a few minutes

ARRANGE TABLE(S)
Arrange a large table or multiple tables for me to set up my kit on if possible. A dining room and downstairs is usually ideal. If you would like me to work upstairs, you will need to arrange for my kit to be carried upstairs; I do not carry my kit upstairs due to its weight. Please note that my kit is wheeled on the floor outside, in case you wish to protect the floor or surface I will be placing it on (please have a towel ready to do so). I am not liable for any damage to tables, flooring or outfits

DERMAPLANING
Dermaplaning ensures a smooth base which makes the makeup more flawless. Avoid waxing if possible as this tends to cause breakouts

Professionally or via Crest Whitening Strips

WATER & SLEEP
2/3 litres of water & 7/8 hours of sleep daily - it makes a huge difference! Cover your hands/arms if you are sleeping with fresh henna to avoid stains on the face

OUTFIT
Try on your outfit near to the time in case your weight fluctuates (and to practice the corset etc.), and practice walking and sitting in it with your wedding shoes. Check that you have all parts of your outfit including jewellery, veil/ dupatta and belt if applicable. Ensure your outfit (and hijab if applicable) is crease-free before your glam team arrive (pack a steamer if you are not getting ready at home). Keep some safety pins of different sizes and grip pins handy in your pouch. Try your nose ring on if applicable. Ensure you have a friend/ family member to help you with your outfit/ cleaning the room/ pre-shoot

Allocate tasks to those you can trust - lists are a good idea! Try to enjoy your big day and not stress over the little things
